Let’s take a breather from all this talk about million dollar homes and marrying rich men or finding a way to make our own millions

It does get tedious after a while doing nothing but talking about money money money and rich this, rich that. Take a breather. Look at some pictures that remind you of the things that really matter in life.

There are people in the world who don’t have the freedom to concern themselves with questions about who lives in what million dollar home in which posh neighborhood, driving what brand of luxury vehicle. Just for a moment let’s spare a thought to those people in the world who are even more disadvantaged than we are.

And now back to reality:

So you’re not a rich woman by Kim Kiyosaki’s definition. She said something to the effect of:

What Is a Rich Woman?
I hear women say, “I’m rich in spirit,” “I’m rich in family and friends,” and “My life experiences make me rich.” And I agree with each of these interpretations. You can have a very rich life, but that alone doesn’t make you a rich woman.

When I talk about being rich in this column, I’m talking about one thing: money. I’m talking about investing, cash flow and taking charge of your financial life. Source

The fact is, if you don’t have millions to your name you’re not rich, but is that such a horribly bad thing? Should you want to kill yourself because of it? Having money is a good thing. Not having to worry about paying your bills is an incredible stress reliever. Money empowers, there’s no doubt about that; but there’s a difference between striving for financial freedom and obsessing about being rich.
