Contrasting image of a rich woman walking the streets of New York nearby a poor woman begging for money

Came across this interesting photo on flickr depicting two women on Fifth avenue in New York.

One of the women is decked out in a fur coat and toting around Louis Vuitton bags. The other woman looks homeless and is begging for money.

Of course a picture can lie.

The woman in the fur coat might not be as rich as she is trying to appear. Her fur coat could be fake and her designer bags could be imitation as well. She could just be trying to fool the world while deluding herself; but it is still interesting how the rich and poor, particularly in places like New York City, can co-exist, and can usually be told apart on the streets only by the clothes they wear.
