Beyonce richest woman under 30

Born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles in Houston Texas on September 4th in 1981, singer Beyonce rose to fame as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child in the late 1990s, branching out as a solo artist with the 2003 release of her debut solo album, Dangerously in Love.

Beyonce has recently been named the richest woman under 30, with a reported fortune of 100 million. Beyonce has been quoted as saying about her wealth:

“I never imagined I would be so blessed. I just wanted to be financially stable, and it embarrasses me, and I don’t feel comfortable talking or thinking about it. I’m not a flashy girl, and I don’t flaunt it.”

All due credit to Beyonce. She’s no doubt worked hard for her money; but you have to wonder if she would be topping any richest woman in the world lists if she was in the habit of getting up on stage to perform with her hair pulled back and wearing long flowing skirts and poet’s blouses. Beyonce might not have been born rich, but she was born beautiful and talented, and no doubt her looks have helped propel her to her current status as the richest woman under 30 much in the same way her looks accounted for former women’s tennis professional, Anna Kournikova, also making it onto the list of richest women under 30.
