Don’t let the contraction be more than you?

Apparently the above is a quote from actor Matthew McConaughey while discussing with OK Magazine what it was like in the delivery room with his girlfriend Camilla Alves giving birth to his and Camilla’s first child. There must be something charming in the description but it’s hard to pick it out on just two hours of sleep….

Have you ever had contractions? Do you think having someone sitting between your legs telling you don’t let the contraction be more than you would give you that extra boost of will you need to endure the pain that comes with expelling a human being from your vagina?
