Pope Benedict XVI says success, career, ambition and money amount to a hill of beans

If only I had the courage to live in the great outdoors eating what I could hunt and gather together from that which nature provides….

Don’t get me wrong. I do get the Pope’s point, but no one will accept a hug and a thank you as payment for letting me live in their apartment or giving me water and electricity, clothes and food.
