Wondering How rich is Michele Wie? Or what’s Michelle Wie’s net worth?

Michelle Wie, the 19-year old golfer called “one of 100 people who shape our world” by Time Magazine, earned $12 million between June 2007 and June 2008, and that’s just her income for that one-year period.

Think it feels pretty good to be Michelle Wie?

Not to downplay Michele Wie’s talent or take anything away from her accomplishments, but how great must it  be to make that kind of money and enjoy so much noteriety for doing nothing more than swinging a golf club?

Much like Tennis’s Anna Kournikova though, Michele Wie has won no professional golf championships and  owes her millions of dollars to landing major endorsement contracts. It appears the most money she’s won from a tournament so far in her career  has been $255,333 which she won at the Evian Masters in July 2006.

She is currently enrolled as a student at Stanford university.
