A quick scan of the Handcrafted, Artisan Jewelry category on the Ebay website will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect selling costume jewelry on Ebay. Costume jewelry does not appear to sell like hotcakes over on Ebay. Very few listed items of the four hundred or so I viewed had actually received bids.

However, just because current Ebay sellers of costume jewelry don’t appear to be raking in the dough from costume jewelry sales, that doesn’t mean you can’t have success. If your jewelry designs appeal to buyers and you have a knack for getting sales then anything is possible; but generally it’s a smarter idea to sell products on Ebay that people actively buy. When the majority of listings in a category with nearly 50,000 listings have zero bids it’s usually safe to bet that your listing will also receive zero bids; but again, anything is possible.
