A Playboy model the next J. K. Rowling?

A former model who has appeared in Cosmopolitan, YM, Max Magazine and Playboy among others, Chicagoan Angi Mari Yangas fell on hard times in 2002. Her life, by her own description, “seriously went from Robin Leach’s Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous to Jerry Springer….”

As reported on southtownstar.com, the online version of the Chicago newspaper SouthtownStarStar, Angi Mari says of her downfall:

I went from traveling around the world modeling, seeing my face on magazine covers, living a life that others dreamed of having, to being pregnant and alone sleeping on an air mattress in a dusty, dirty garage with giant cockroaches.”

Now she is the author of “The Bugguzz: Let There Be Light,” a children’s book that tells the tale of tiny superheros who live in the city of boogers, Los Nostriles. The Bugguzz is not a popular book yet, and Angi Mari is not a well-known author, but her real life story reads much like the story of world renowned author of the Harry Potter book series, J.K. Rowling, before she went on to become a billionaire.
