Oprah Winfrey is not only a rich woman she is also the savior of Saudi Arabian women 25 and under

Here’s an interesting article from the New York Times in which writer Katherine Zoepf tells of how much of an inspiration Oprah Winfrey has become for young women in Saudi Arabia since “The Oprah Winfrey Show” first started airing in Saudi Arabia in November 2004.

In the piece Zoepf quotes a Saudi Arabian women as saying:

“I feel that Oprah truly understands me…. She gives me energy and hope for my life. Sometimes I think that she is the only person in the world who knows how I feel.”
